Ribbon cuttings allow for the community to celebrate your achievements with you, are a great opportunity to make additional connections, and are a great tool to add additional exposure to your business or organization. Ribbon cutting events are open to members, elected officials, local councilman, and the general public unless otherwise stated. At the event, you’ll have the floor to speak about your product or services, you’ll receive a certificate dedicating the day, and the commemorative ribbon cutting celebration. Each event is captured by our team through photography and video. After the event, you’ll receive an online marketing campaign which includes a photo album, plus a social post detailing your business and services, and a short-form video on all social platforms.

The Chamber owns and manages the largest Facebook group page for Etowah County happenings. The page acts as a central hub for online community discussion and recommendations. Our online and magazine directory is a trusted source for locals to find reputable businesses. As a member, you are listed in the online directory under your respective category. Your listing includes info about your business, contact, and location information, and is typically an additional first page result that appears on Google and other search engines when customers search for your business or related services. The Current Magazine Local Directory & Guide is an annual publication that serves as a modern-day phonebook. Featuring Chamber members and their contact information, businesses are listed as Top Area Businesses. A listing in the magazine is automatically included as a member. Copies are distributed to walk-ins requesting local information and every Chamber member, waiting rooms, hospitals, and offices in the County. Advertising opportunities are available in the magazine for purchase.
Free rental available to Chamber members to market themselves with professional tools. The room features an 8.5x10ft collapsible backdrop with a green screen, two studio soft box lights, two temperature adjustable led lights, a camera or phone tripod, a teleprompter, and a mobile whiteboard for video notes.
The ‘What’s Happening, Etowah?’ is a monthly newsletter that is sent directly to over 4,000 inboxes. The newsletter contains positive local community and business news. Request a submission to be featured in the newsletter. Advertisements or any general good news about businesses are eligible to be featured.
The Etowah Chamber website is frequented as a general information center for local events and businesses. Members can promote any local events they might be hosting or advertise their services through their Chamber account. Events will be displayed on the Community Events calendar. Members’ businesses can also submit advertising that will be displayed on an online advertisement board under the Community Deals & Coupons section of the website.
Every day, the Chamber receives walk-ins, calls, and information inquiries on local businesses and services. The Chamber will only recommend Chamber members for services. The Chamber office also acts as an information hub for locals and visitors. Members may display flyers, brochures, and business cards at the Chamber office.
