Member businesses are nominated, scored, and awarded in several categories of excellence. Winners are submitted to compete for state awards.
The ESBYs or the Etowah Small Business of the Year Awards is a program taking place in November that recognizes local businesses and organizations in the community. Local businesses are nominated and are reviewed based on several criteria. Finalists in various categories are then submitted to the Alabama state awards for consideration across the state. Long-standing businesses reaching significant milestones are also recognized and given the opportunity for induction into the Etowah Chamber Hall of Fame class. Applications for ESBYs open in September.
